CETRA to Attend AMTA Conference

CETRA is set to attend the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas (AMTA) Conference in Chicago on September 30 – October 2. AMTA 2024 will provide engaging sessions and productive networking opportunities for in-person attendees, as well as virtual access for remote participants from around the world and a full day of virtual tutorials ahead of the conference.

Michael Harter, CETRA’s Quality and Technology Manager is set to attend the Conference at the end of the month. He plans to attend various sessions and networking opportunities throughout the event.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the first AMTA conference and the 70th anniversary of the first public demonstration of machine translation. The focus is not only on Machine Translation but also encompasses any use of technology, such as Large Language Models and generative AI, for cross-lingual use cases.

AMTA 2024 is set to be a great opportunity to hear about the latest work from some of the best minds in NLP, as the conference attracts leading researchers, developers, providers, and users of these boundary-pushing technologies.

The event will include parallel sessions addressing a variety of topics, keynote talks and panels by recognized MT experts, fresh demonstrations of the latest offerings from MT providers, and relevant tutorials for both beginners and more experienced practitioners in MT.

We encourage you to reach out to Michael or contact info@cetra.com to connect at the AMTA 2024 Conference.
