CETRA Ranked in 2021 Slator Index
CETRA was recently ranked among the top 100 globally in the Language Service Provider Index (LSPI) by Slator, a provider of news, analysis, and research for the global translation, localization, and language technology industry.
According to Slator, the LSPI is both a ranking and an index of the world’s largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies.
The Slator 2021 LSPI is used as a resource for language industry stakeholders, and is the industry’s first look at growth in 2020.
CETRA announced in 2020 its newly-added capacity to provide remote interpretation services, including Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). In addition, its Elkins Park, PA headquarters was named as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2020 Best Places to Work.
The momentum for CETRA continued into 2021 when it was awarded a renewal of its contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide translation and interpretation services for US government agencies.
Slator divided the list into four categories: Super Agencies, Leaders, Challengers, and Boutiques (these are LSPs with revenues between 1 and 8 million USD). CETRA was included in the Boutiques category. The 2021 LSPI featured more than 175 companies with combined revenues of 7.6 billion USD and average growth of 10.3% (result of M&A-driven consolidation among Super Agencies).
