CETRA Ranked in 2024 Slator Language Service Provider Index
CETRA was recently ranked as a top global provider of language services in the Slator 2024 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI). This is the fourth consecutive year that CETRA has been included in the index. CETRA was ranked 129 this year, which is up 11 places from last year.
The LSPI ranking comes on the heels of CETRA launching the CETRA Translate app, its latest AI-powered technology to support multilingual e-discovery within the Relativity legal platform. In addition, CETRA was recently recertified as a Great Place to Work®.
CETRA was founded in 1997 by Jiri Stejskal to support international litigation at a major Philadelphia law firm. CETRA has since grown to become a premier provider of language services to government, nonprofit, and corporate clients, including the market research, legal, technology, and healthcare industries.
Slator is a provider of news, analysis, and research for the global translation, localization, and language technology industry. The 2024 Slator LSPI is both a ranking and an index of the world’s largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies.
Slator divided the list into four categories based on revenues: Super Agencies, Leaders, Challengers, and Boutiques. CETRA was included in the LSPI’s Boutique group, which includes LSPs with revenues between 1 and 8 million USD.
The 2024 Slator LSPI featured nearly 250 companies with a combined revenue of $9.7 billion USD. Slator noted that a significant portion of the revenue last year was related to consolidation from mergers and acquisitions in the industry, and that organic growth across the companies in the LSPI was flat.
