Elkins Park, October 4, 2010: CETRA Language Solutions participated in the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride for the third time, with its team of eight joining a throng of 7,000 cyclists riding through South Jersey on September 25-26, who collectively raised $5 million dollars for the fight against multiple sclerosis. This year also marked the 30th Anniversary of the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride.

The ride, which raised $28,000 for multiple sclerosis research in its first year, has grown 100-fold in the past three decades. In 2010, City to Shore is poised to reach $50 million in total fundraising. The tour, which is ranked as one of the top 50 rides in the United States by Bicycling Magazine, gives cyclists the opportunity to ride 75 miles from Cherry Hill to Ocean City, NJ, on Saturday and then return on Sunday. Each cyclist must collect at least $300 in pledges to participate in the tour, with many raising hundreds or thousands of dollars more. This year the CETRA Team raised over $7,500.

Jiri Stejskal, CETRA’s CEO and an avid cyclist himself, commented on the ride: “I am very proud of our team for raising the funds in a difficult economic climate and helping multiple sclerosis patients in the local community. I am also very grateful to our suppliers, clients, friends and families who made generous contributions to support a worthy cause.”
