Travel Blog: Turk's Head BreweryCETRA’s CEO Jiri Stejskal traveled earlier this summer with his daughter Alice to Turks and Caicos to participate in the Race for the Conch Eco-Seaswim. The long-distance swim race was held in Providenciales, which is the third largest island and hub of tourism in the Turks and Caicos chain.

The Race for the Conch holds events in distances of half mile, one mile, and 2.4 miles. This year’s races were held in Grace Bay and, according to race organizers, featured perfect open water conditions.

Congratulations to the Stejskals for completing the 2.4-mile swim!

Before leaving Providenciales, Jiri and Alice sampled brews from Turk’s Head Brewery, which boasts of having the only locally brewed beer on the Turks and Caicos Islands. The brewery had some fun with language when naming their beers (see image right for a preview of the names of their beers).
