Team CETRA Rows to Support Living With Cancer Foundation

The German foundation “Leben mit Krebs” (Living with Cancer) promotes and supports participation in sports and cultural activities for people diagnosed with cancer. Its “Rudern gegen Krebs” (Rowing against Cancer) regatta is a fundraising initiative, which has been held annually since 2005 in cooperation with local rowing clubs and oncological therapy facilities nationwide. The participants of the regatta, including a substantial number of doctors and nurses, row to raise money for the foundation’s activities; the proceeds of the event are used to fund therapists who specifically offer exercise programs and conduct training for cancer patients. Now in its 10th year, the rowing regatta takes place in numerous German cities: Berlin, Heidelberg, Hamburg, Kiel, Dresden and others.

“Doing good” is an essential part of CETRA´s mission. In support of the cause and to draw attention to the important work of the foundation, CETRA employees will participate in the regatta in Heidelberg on Sunday, September 7, 2014, starting at 9:00 am. The event is open to the public and also features live entertainment at the shores of the Neckar river.

Root for Team CETRA – we look forward to seeing you in Heidelberg!
