CETRA to Attend Delaware Valley Translators Association Summit

Members of CETRA’s team will be attending the Delaware Valley Translators Association (DVTA) 2024 East Coast Interpreters and Translators Summit. The DVTA Summit is to take place in Wilmington, Delaware on September 7th.

Sophia Cerri, CETRA’s Vendor Manager, and Kristin Lynch, one of CETRA’s Senior Project Managers, will be attending the event. Both Sophia and Kristin will be attending various sessions and networking opportunities during the event. CETRA will be a Silver Sponsor during the event and will be at the Silver Sponsorship table.

This year’s DVTA Summit is based on Embracing and Leveraging the Innovations in T&I. The in-person event offers a full day of educational presentations by industry experts from across the country and more.

DVTA announced Ewandro Magalhaes as their keynote speaker this year. Ewandro is a conference interpreter, former chief-interpreter in the United Nations system, and a language technology pioneer. He is also an educator who’s trained interpreters worldwide. He is a co-founder and former Chief Language Officer of KUDO, a NY-based tech startup and RSI platform that has revolutionized the delivery of interpretation services. A citizen of the world, he has lived and worked in his native Brazil, California, DC, NY and Geneva. He has also traveled and led large teams of linguists on high-level missions on four continents.

In addition to the keynote, the DVTA Summit will also feature other distinguished speakers and experts in the field including, Bridgett Hylak, Javier Castillo, Representatives from AAITE and CCHI, and others.
