CETRA Ranked in 2023 Slator Global Index

CETRA was ranked as a top global provider of language services in the Slator 2023 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI). This is the third consecutive year that CETRA has been included in the index.

Slator is a provider of news, analysis, and research for the global translation, localization, and language technology industry. According to Slator, this year’s LSPI is the most expansive to date with more than 300 companies initially listed in the index. The 2023 Slator Global Index is both a ranking and an index of the world’s largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies. The participants in the LSPI were listed in order of revenue (in USD for 2022).

CETRA, a global language service provider (LSP), was listed number 140 in the global index this year. The company was included in the LSPI’s Boutique group, which includes LSPs with revenues between 1 million USD and 8 million USD.

CETRA was founded in 1997 by Jiri Stejskal to support international litigation translation at a major Philadelphia law firm. CETRA has since grown to become a premier provider of language services to government, nonprofit, and corporate clients, including the market research, legal, technology, and healthcare industries.

Slator divided the list into four categories based on revenues: Super Agencies, Leaders, Challengers, and Boutiques. The 2023 LSPI featured more than 350 companies with nearly 10.4 billion USD combined revenue. This represented a 10% growth from the previous year.
