CETRA Attends PHLCVB Annual Luncheon
Members from CETRA’s Business Development team attended the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) Annual Luncheon. This is an annual networking event held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This year’s event was held at the Franklin Institute the day before Thanksgiving, November 27th.
Proceeds from the PHLCVB Luncheon benefit the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau Foundation. The Foundation supports activities that promote Philadelphia as a top-tier destination, hospitality education programs, and legacy projects that benefit the local community.
Since its creation in 2002, the PHLCVB Foundation together with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau have provided residents and visitors to Philadelphia an opportunity to give back to local projects that make Philadelphia a better place to live and travel to. The foundation focuses on initiatives where they can make the biggest impact. The four primary areas of focus are hospitality education, economic development, community improvement and outreach, and hospitality industry support.
CETRA is a current PHLCVB partner and listed as a resource on their website. This year, CETRA also assisted the PHLCBV Luncheon by providing an interpreter for the event. This is just one example of many conferences and events CETRA has worked with to provide interpreters across the globe.
When planning a conference or meeting for a multilingual audience, you’ll want to make sure all participants can get your message in their own language. Converting speech between languages requires interpreters who are experienced linguists, subject matter experts, and reliable professionals. CETRA’s interpreters will make sure that your audience gets the message.
Thank you to everyone we spoke with and met at the PHLCVB Luncheon! If we didn’t get the chance to connect, please reach out to us at info@cetra.com.
