The theme for the Canadian Language Industry Showcase 2011 is “The Language Industry:  Looking Ahead”.  Our objective is to bring together a diverse cross section of buyers and suppliers of language industry products and services to discuss the latest trends, best practices, current and future issues and solutions in the language industry.  The program will showcase presentations from leaders in the field and will include exhibits demonstrating the latest language solutions and tools.  Online Registration and a Preliminary Program will be available on the AILIA web site shortly.

The Showcase will begin with exhibits and an ‘icebreaker’ reception on Thursday evening, November 3, 2011.  Friday, November 4, 2011 will include a full day’s program of plenary presentations and breakout sessions featuring a 3-track format with sessions tailored to Translation, Language Technologies and Language Training.
