CETRA Recertified to the ISO 9001 Quality Standard

CETRA Language Solutions recently received recertification for its ISO 9001:2015 international quality management standard.  The review was performed in April by the Performance Review Institute (PRI).  CETRA is audited annually for compliance with its ISO certification, and PRI performs a full recertification every three years.

It’s been a busy year already for CETRA. In February, CETRA was ranked as a top global provider of language services in the Slator 2025 Language Service Provider Index for the third consecutive year.

In addition, CETRA earned Great Place to Work certification™ in January. This prestigious award is based on current employees’ feedback. This year, 95% of employees said CETRA is a great place to work 38 points higher than the average U.S. company.

Quality Management System

CETRA’s ISO 9001:2015 certification standard follows the same overall structure as ISO’s other management system standards (known as the High-Level Structure), and puts increased importance on risk-based thinking in quality management.

The requirements for ISO 9001:2015 certification include having a Quality Management System (QMS) that consistently meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements, as well as having a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the QMS.

The recertification demonstrates CETRA’s adherence to internationally recognized quality management standards and best practices. CETRA is also a corporate member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and follows the ATA’s Code of Professional Conduct and Business Practices. In addition, CETRA adheres to ASTM International’s translation and interpretation quality standard guides.
