CETRA Ranked in 2022 Slator Global Index

CETRA Ranked in 2022 Slator Global IndexCETRA was recently ranked as a top global provider of language services in the Slator 2022 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI). Slator is a provider of news, analysis, and research for the global translation, localization, and language technology industry.

According to Slator, the LSPI is both a ranking and an index of the world’s largest translation, localization, interpreting, and language technology companies. The participants in the LSPI were listed in order of revenue (in USD for 2021).

CETRA, a global language service provider (LSP), was listed number 131 in the global index. The company was included in the LSPI’s Boutique group, which includes LSPs with revenues between 1 million USD and 8 million USD.

CETRA is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The company was initially founded by Jiri Stejskal to support international litigation translation at a major Philadelphia law firm. CETRA has since grown to become a premier provider of language services to government, nonprofit, and corporate clients, including the market research, legal, technology, and healthcare industries.

CETRA was included in the previous year’s rankings from Slator.

Slator divided the list into four categories based on revenues: Super Agencies, Leaders, Challengers, and Boutiques. The 2022 LSPI featured more than 300 companies with nearly 9.5 billion USD combined revenue. This represented a 22% growth from the previous year.
