CETRA Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Recertification

CETRA Language Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been recertified under the ISO 9001:2008 international quality management standard.  CETRA is one of the few language service providers in the United States to hold this prestigious certification.

The requirements for ISO 9001:2008 certification include having a Quality Management System (QMS) that consistently meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements, as well as having a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the QMS.

What Does ISO Recertification Mean for Clients?

The recertification demonstrates CETRA’s adherence to internationally recognized quality management standards and best practices. Clients can rest assured that they are receiving accurate translation and interpretation services with CETRA, and that we are dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction.

We are also proud to announce that we received recertification without any identified nonconformities from auditors during their review of our ISO standards and QMS.

“We’re really trying to listen to our customers and learn from their feedback,” said Tommy Tomolonis, CETRA’s Quality Manager. “That’s how we get better, and the auditors and our clients can tell.”

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an organizational QMS. Organizations large and small from across the globe use the standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products or services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 9001 was originally published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an international agency composed of the national standards bodies of more than 170 countries.

According to ISO, the 9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement.
