[Update September 25, 2019: It was a successful bike ride this weekend.  Team CETRA raised more than $5,200 for the National MS Society.  Thanks to all who supported the team!]

July 31, 2019 — A team from CETRA will be participating in this year’s Bike MS: City to Shore Ride in Philadelphia and New Jersey to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  The ride is scheduled for September 21-22, 2019.

Participating in the ride has become an annual tradition for CETRA.  This year will mark the twelfth year in a row that CETRA has organized a team of cyclists for the ride.

The team has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 for this year.  CETRA has raised more than $100,000 over the years through the bike ride and other fundraising activities in support of the National MS Society.

CETRA’s team for Bike MS 2019 is currently being organized. However, Jiri Stejskal, CETRA’s CEO, and Molly Stejskal, the Vice President of the company, are frequent participants of the ride.  The biggest team from CETRA was in 2012 with 23 riders.

More than 7,000 cyclists participate in the two-day event, which includes multiple start options for riders of all levels from 25-175 miles across southern New Jersey.   The longest ride starts in Cherry Hill (just across the river from Philadelphia), and all routes lead riders across the flat terrain, blueberry fields and back roads of southern New Jersey.  At the end of the ride, the cyclists are welcomed by cheering volunteers, family and friends at the finish line in Ocean City, NJ.

Participating in Bike MS 2019 is part of CETRA’s Doing Good initiative, which partners CETRA and its employees with organizations worldwide in volunteerism and service.
