Update: CETRA Team with MREF Race Around the World

Update 5/17/22 – The MREF Race Around the World has surpassed its original goal of $100,000 in donations, and has set a new goal of $130,000. So far, more than $121,000 has been raised by all teams, and 1,240 participants have logged more than 40,000 miles! Amazing!

The CETRA Team is in full swing. Our team has logged 310 miles this month with 11 racers.

There is still time to join our team for the virtual race!

5/11/22 — CETRA Team Joins MREF’s Race Around the World

CETRA is a proud Medalist sponsor of the Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) and its 2nd annual Race Around the World throughout May. This year, funds raised will support relief efforts helping Ukrainian children. MREF is partnering with Baal Dan Charities, who will identify the right partners on the ground to address the complex issues facing Ukrainian refugee children.

We have created a CETRA Team for the virtual race. As a company-sponsored team, we hope to walk, bike, and run as many miles as we can. We invite you to join our race team.

Together with other market research industry supporters, we will log the miles we walk, bike, and run this month to help complete a virtual trip around the world and raise more than $100,000 to support relief efforts for Ukrainian children. MREF sponsored the first 5,000 miles with a $20,000 gift. Last year the race raised more than $90,000 and logged more than 75,000 miles!

You can track our company’s overall progress on the race website. Members of our team receive a customized race bib and number that can be downloaded; and each participant receives milestone badges for goals reached, such as participation for days in a row, number of miles, etc.

There is also a portal where participants can share photos and encourage each other. All miles count: outdoor biking; running and walking; swimming; treadmill; and stationary bikes; you name it!

We look forward to racing around the world to improve access to education for kids who need it. Let’s get moving!
