Team CETRA Heidelberg Joined 350 Rowers at “Rudern gegen Krebs”

Team CETRA in Heidelberg, Germany participated in yesterday’s “Rudern gegen Krebs” event (Rowing against Cancer), a fundraising initiative, which has been held annually since 2005 in cooperation with local rowing clubs and oncological therapy facilities nationwide.
With beautiful late summer weather, 78 rowing teams and about 350 participants the event was a smashing success! The participants, including a substantial number of doctors and nurses, rowed to raise money for the foundation’s activities; the proceeds of the event are used to fund therapists who specifically offer exercise programs and conduct training for cancer patients.
